Lemon asks how circumcision could be bad since Jesus was circumsised. A lot of people jusify this form of sadism that way.

Well alright. But there an awful lot of men born as far back as the 20's that this was done to for so called medical reasons. How did that get started anyway? It's awful disconcerting to think that I permitted something that terrible to be done, even though I had no religious reasons. That's the reason that I pointed out that Jesus was circumcised. I think that my boys are alright, and emotionally sound. At least,I didn't dump feminism on them. As a young mother I'm afraid I was at first very passive toward professional advise. As a matter of fact many things are forced by law. All, I had was the temerity to determine that no one, but me would take care of my little ones. We had four. Modern gentile circumcision was thought to be a good idea for hygenic reasons. Recently a reason was published dealing with cancer. We have so much published along those lines, much of it contradictory, that we can't really judge what is the best thing to do anymore. Leaving a boy's foreskin alone may well be the better idea. At least he can make his own mind up as to what he will do. I doubt he would ever have it sliced.
If you cut off your nose, you'll never get cancer there, so I guess we should all cut them off.
