THE ROBERT W. WHITAKER ARCHIVE

SMARMY ROMNEY | 2012-01-27

I think the word is smarmy, somebody who is always smiling and not quite saying anything.

If Romney says anything, it will be after he has assured everybody how handsome Obama is and bring out the endless string of clichés required of respectable conservatism.

Gingrich is often stupid and wrong, but he gets it OVER with. He just says the required horseshit and then goes on to the subject.

Romney is the perfect image of the Republicans who runs as a non-Democrat. He smiles and he smiles and he smiles.

There may be an undercurrent of the Internet Age here. One of the great innovations of this age is TLDR -- Too Long, Didn't Read. This attitude may be getting to politics. In the 1850's Lincoln or Douglas would have an audience that brought a couple of meals and expected a short speech to give hem at least two hours' entertainment.

Now the standard respectability ritual, which varies about as reciting the Creed does in church, causes the audience to cough and get restless.

One can see Gingrich with a wrinkle in his suit and one does not associate him with a smile. The media emphasizes this because it has always demanded smarmy conservatives who repeat the Creed carefully and in full.

I wonder what Romney would be like with a single wrinkle in his jacket or with no hint of an apologetic smile on his face?

There is nothing to choose between a Gingrich or a Romney, or an Obama as president.

So maybe, just maybe, people are getting tired of sitting through the Creed and waiting the apologetic smile.

I remember during one of the debates a moderator asked Romney a question about the constitutionality of outlawing condoms. Romney replied by saying, "Let's ask the constitutionalist." while gesturing to Ron Paul.

Now what does that mean? That means that Romney is not a constitutionalist. Yet Mittens is called a conservative. What exactly is he trying to conserve?

Not a damn thing.

Ron Paul may not hold truly racial ideals, but he can be respected because the ideals that he holds he holds truly. I personally do not think that anyone that has lived in Texas and has been involved in politics can be blind to the racial problem, but that's just me and it is a topic for another debate.

The point of my screed is this; Romney and Gingrich will spout whatever horseshit they have to to gain and retain the power that they actually seek.

Truth be told, even if they lose the election they will be lauded as "standing up for america", and will probably get a cabinet position in the renewed administration in order for Obama to be able to claim some semblance of 'bipartisanship.'

It is all horseshit plain and simple.

Well, if people are not tired of sitting through the Creed and that insipid smile, they are already dead.

#3 Epiphany | 2012-01-27 10:05

I suspect that Ron Paul will be elected!

My opening creed would be along the lines of:

Obama parrots English very well, for an individual as unintelligent as he is.

Any "american citizen" who votes for "more of the same" at this stage in the game is a Traitor to everything that our Federal Constitution ever stood for!

Some background on WHO is backing this anti-white campaign. BIG MONEY.
The campaign will use posters, billboards, a website, events and television and radio public service announcements to make the public aware of white privilege. Groups involved in the campaign include the city of Duluth, St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services, the Central Labor Body, Lake Superior College, University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Wisconsin-Superior and the YWCA.
The Anti-Whites in those pictures looked like Jonestown-type extremists. They have a look in their eye just as empty as the kids on "Jesus Camp." They demand that all White countries accept forced integration and assimilation. They demand a world with no "Whiteness" (and therefore no White people).

There are no respected pro-White leaders who demand that all Jews, or blacks, or American Indians, or Mexicans, or Muslims be forced blended out of existence. But the anti-Whites demand that Whites be wiped off the earth.

If anti-Whites complained about White privilege and demanded that Whites have their own living spaces to keep us separated from their "ideal multicultural society," I would respect that. But they don't, instead anti-Whites demand that "Whiteness" be blended out of existence.

If Whiteness does exist (anti-Whites seem to think so) , the people known as "White" should have every right to self-determination. Anti-Whites deny this right to "Whites."

They don't know it yet but these people are in serious trouble. I remember when I was a kid and we would say "ahh Busted" when we'd catch someone doing something wrong. When I think about the administrators of such an event (White privilege pity parties) and the sponsors(the money) I think:

AAHHH.....BUSTED!!!!! Dude, you're BUSTED!!!

"In the 1850s Lincoln or Douglas would have an audience that brought a couple of meals and expected a short speech to give them at least two hours' entertainment."

Which is why when Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, the audience was BLOWN AWAY. He rattled off 267 words that effectively re-wrote the Constitution, forever changing History and the course for this country.

Senator Prick Scrotorum hinted at this during last night's debate. In an attempt to paint himself as the True Conservative Respectable, he referenced the Constitution and a need to adhere to it. Then, in the same breath, this joker QUOTED the Declaration of Independence! You know the part about how this country was founded on the Idea (capital i) that "all men are created Equal." He said that it answers the "WHY does America exist" Question. Equality: THE social construct of all social constructs!

The audience does NOT realize how criminal this truly is. I don't know that I have seen any speech so overtly treasonous as that in my entire life.

I am sure the anti-white political pundits LOVED it.

Smarmy Mommybot is about it. Anyway we are at that point that the hecklers are right and the creedist needs to go Crazy Nigger or lose the cult.

We are here to point at the anti-Whites and tell the rest of our white folk, "they ain't nice people." And the anti-Whites are doing their Crazy Nigger act to help us out.

To wrap this up, BUGs is killing the race card this election cycle, any clown who pulls it will be booed by the audience.

#11 BGLass | 2012-01-28 13:12

watching the election coverage, it's amazing the seeming lack of creativity in the american people--- only people who are non-innovative can understand "pro-life" as "anti-abortion," for instance. More life affirming people see"prof-life" as WHATEVER goes in the direction of creating (and rule excludes things s/a drugs for kids, or weaponry, since such "creations" are simultaneously destructive, causing blowback, etc.)

It's sad that more don't notice how much money is just made off scarcity, fear, fear of death, products that do harm then "create a market" to cure the harm, cycles of destructive "innovations."

Later, this may become known as the age of the marketers, really.
