I think Shari's a good egg. She's got the courage to stand up for what she feels is right and keeps coming back to the batting cage even after taking a beanball to the nose.

Hats off to Shari!!

ME:

Shari is not just a good egg, she is a great STUDENT. A true teacher LIVES for the few really good students he or she encounters.

I think that I am finally understanding what you mean by "wordism" It's been a hard notion for me to nail down. White skin isn't of no consequence, it's a gift, keep it.

Now I know that I have a good way to illustrate Wordism to those who have trouble grasping it. This is critical information, basic to everything I am trying to do here.

As I went on about "simple copying and pasting" only Shari raised her hand in class and said, "Prof, I have trouble copying and pasting."

Don't take this as some kind of naivete on her part. Listen, gang, I have palyed the Naively Honest Southerner WAY too long to fall for that idea. I watched Ronald Reagan play the Dumb Irish Actor, too.

No, Shari has complete confidence in herself. She knows that if SHARI doesn't get it, I haven't explained it enough yet. She knows I am dealing with difficult concepts here, and she has patience.

Yeah well, here's something I can brag on. My own white skin is a blessing in more ways than one. I'm 56yrs and while I have plenty of grey hair,{which I don't color as my husband likes it} I don't hardly have a line in my face and people remark. I got this fine textured skin via my German paternal grandmother. She was 75yrs when she died and still had scarcly a wrinkle. She didn't know any thing about botox etc. just cold cream. That's 99% genetics. Something worth passing down.
