This is a very important observation. The Puritans began every evil now rampant in America. They were neo-Jews. They dropped Christian names like Mark and Peter and replaced them with names like Jehoshaphat, Shamgar, and Isaiah. Like Jews, they engaged in trade at the expense of more honest labors. Working with the Jews that betrayed New Amsterdam, they began the slave trade by selling hard liquor to slave-holding niggas in Africa. Soon they dropped all pretense of Christianity and became card-carrying Unitarians. Next they dropped all of morality and became Capitalists with their slave and liquor money. And at last they became card-carrying Marxists handing over much more than ten billion tax-dollars a year to Israel. Of course along the way they took out loans to the tune of 3/4 of the assessed value of all real property in the USA to the blood-red Rothschilds and started the War against Southern Independence and so made themselves fabulously rich.
Evangelicals today have succumbed to the poorly thought out dogma of "Dominionists" who believe that America was put on a path to greatness when the Puritans believed their will to be God's and illegally founded Massachusetts Bay Colony in French territory. Even Presbyterians who should know better think the Puritans were some of their own. No one considers that if the Puritans met any Evangelicals or Presbyterians today there would be war.

MY OBERVATION
The first church of the pilgrims, which was established as you know BEFORE the Puritans, is now a Unitarian Church.
You know your history. New England was a Unitarian stronghold when abolition became their fixation. The ante-bellum South was actually a scandal because down here women drank bourbon BEFORE subset, which seemed to be a big thing, and our generally "morally lax" way of life.
In New England, preachers got paid fabulous salaries for preaching against Southern Evil. Their salaries were provided by their industrialists who routinly worked eight-year-olds fourteen hours a day. Worst of all, when a child collapsed and crippled himself intheir factory, the child, unlikt Southern slaves, had no claim to any disability. Nor did any preacher worry about it.
They STARVED. This is a word everybody uses all the time now. If you can't afford even a television set, you are STARVING. So it is difficult for me, since I have seen and SMELLED people starving, to explain what that word really means.
Some preachers did encourage people to give them some food. Others were too busy denouncing Southerners. The latter group got the big bucks.
I am proud of something I found inthe Library of Congress. Back then Jamestown and Massachusetts looked to Britain. They did not really consider themselves a unit with American kindship any more than Jamaica and Nassau fgelt a common bond. It was therefore not until the 1680s that Jamestonw invited a representative of Massachusetts to come down and speak. No such invitation was ever extended in the other direction.
So the Massachusetts Puritan came down and denounced everything about Jamestown. One of the people he denounced was my ancestor, Alexander Whitaker.
Jamestown was very upset. I am quietly proud. The first Southerner Yankees denounced was my ancestor.
No, as Pain points out, the Jews were not our first or our most effective Resident Aliens. New England always treated other Americans as enemies, just as Jews do. The Union was created to live off of tariffs. Not only did Southerners pay for the entire Federal budget, but they got a lot MORE money because Southerners paid more for New England manufactures to avoid tariffs.
Southerners were stupid. At the end of the Civil War, all pretense was dropped and the rest of the country became simple colonies of New England to an extent Britain never dreamed of.
Ah, the Glorious Union!
Like the Greatest Generation fighting for Stalin, the Grand Army of the Republic spent fifty years getting huge financial benefits for fighting for New England's Empire.
So when Robertson brags the Bible Belt mentality goes back to abolitionism, that is routine. But when Falwell says he STILL back the South, I am smart enough to give him some credit. All Southerners, even including all Southern preachers, are NOT the same.
A lot of people ON OUR SIDE think they are terribly smart for dismissing any such distinctions.
So many of us have learned nothing.
