What does a Leader do when his followers get ahead of him? He panics.
What does a teacher do when his pupils get ahead of him? He GLOWS.
Pain is on the offensive, big time. He didn't just talk about "what we should do," he DID it. Only here, on Bob's Blog, do we have soldiers like that. I have spent fifty years listening to people tell me what we shoud do, but a man who plans it and DOES it is almost UNIQUE.
Lord Nelson came up with an argument for a point he had to deal with. It WORKED. I hope I am still able to think that fast. And Lord Nelson learned a lesson you can only get with you have been taking on the enemy nose-to-nose: Forget dazzling them with statistics, hit the BASICS.
Antonio laid bare the fact that you don't lead with statistics on the Holocaust, you hit them with the fact that we are being JAILED. Nelson and Antonio, fresh from the front, make the points fresh that I am been trying to make theoretically for so long.
Then Pain came up with something I had not considered. He said that the TITLE of the piece should be aimed at each particular audience. I was so obsessed with a consistent message that that point didn't occur to me. But I was hitting you with theory. Pain was out there thinking about his AUDIENCE.
Another commenter reminded me that the Blog address should be part of Bob's Blog.
Kelso noted we were down and HE called our server to get us back up.
We are forming a TEAM. Or, as the enemy might call us, a PACK. You HAVE my basics. The Blog is a complete book of them already.
We have basic textbook, but it is time for you to begin to write the new chapters.
