I read a statement some time ago, by I don't know who, but I think it is a good summery of the situation. Individuals of different races can and often do get along fine, but whole races CANNOT.

Shari, I think there is a rational explanation for this, and it has to do with

emergence. Emergence is the term given to the phenomenon where the whole is

greater than the sum of the parts. In races, this accounts for why you cannot

tell the behaiviour of a race from an individual. Each individual has a nature

which deals with other individuals, and with groups. When you get a group of

people, of the same race, you begin to see interactions between them emerge that

were not evident. Essentially, groups of people bring out behaiviours that were

not seen when the individuals were scattered. Obvoious really, but it applies

to race. Some racial characteristics become evident only in groups.

Bob, this comment is a very good one. I have always wondered whether this

'global conciousness' really exists, and whether it is just a figment of

imagination for a few wishful thinking whites. It became evident many years

ago, this was indeed the case.

Nature is geared for us to produce offspring OF OUR OWN TYPE, not another.

This cannot be stressed enough. It is not for species, not even for race or

genus. We mate, we look after our children so our own likeness can live in.

Those who do this, survive and thier success passes on. Those that choose not

to, and it is only humans that choose not to, as essentially going against

nature, and ensuring that thier likeness doesn't pass on.

I caught something on cable a year or so ago about a major catastrophic

eruption in Indonesia 70,000 years ago. (I don't remember even

the name of the channel, but it was probably something on one

of the DISCOVERY channels.) According to the program, this

eruption was so devastating that (1) it wiped out most of the

human population and (2) because it wiped out most of the human

population, it is the major reason why there was never enough

genetic drift to prevent humans from being interbreedable.

Those stories about looking for bone marrow donors are VERY

interesting, especially after decades of "All humans are

alike and race is an illusion." Minority groups are mobilizing

to get their people out to get tested because - surprise - DNA

can be DIFFERENT. Not everyone can donate to everyone else

and folks of different colors often

have enough different DNA factors that they can't donate

between racial groups.

I remember an episode the Montel Williams show where they sought to prove little kids learn racism from their parents. If not for bad environmental influences, we would all grow up the same and love eachother.

They invited some redneck racists and their kids onto the show and put the little White kids in a room with the little Black kids. Lo and behold, after a few minutes these cute 8 year olds were playing with eachother, heedless of their racial differences.

It was undeniably slick. What they forgot to mention is the scientific fact that kids don't consider racial differences until puberty. In other words, till they reach the age of interbreedability. Then race becomes the driving force behind sex selection and social group formation.

This is probably how White people came about in the first place, self selecting their phenotype from lighter skinned members of the breeding group. Man's preference for lighter skinned females holds true for all races. The word Aryan simply means noble- those who stand apart from the group.

How else would distinct Black and White races exist after 400 years of cohabitation on the same continent?

Actually, the ability to distinguish between races varies from race to race. Northern European children, and by children I mean infants who are too young to be indoctrinated, reacted more favourable to unfamiliar faces (those faces of a different 'type'), whereas it was noted that the Jewish infacts became much more upset.

I think some degreee of recognition is present, and it has been observed. Other studies have been done, which show the opposite of Montel Williams. Don't forget, that this is a TV show, and they are not after the objective truth, but rather they are trying to force a point.

Montel Williams is married to a white woman, of course.

Actually, small children will very happily play with monkeys and dogs.

When I was an infant, I was found playing with a rattlesnake.

My prejudiced parents wouldn't let me play with it because they said this interspecies friendship was dangerous.

They were right.

The snake died.

Come to think of it, a bird and monkey wouldn't allow anything to cross its territory, breedable or not, same subspecies, or not. Of course a black man is closer to a white man than a cow is to a white man, but a black man still is not a white man.

of behavior even in the delivery room.

Yes, humans, all animals, are wired to recognize genetic kin. Being able to recognise kin allows one to determine that value an individual has to us. Individual more closely related, carry more of your genes, so in the animal kingdom, animals tend to favour and be more willing to protect those who share a greater part of their genetic interest.

The inherit racial familiarity and discrimination only serve to show that humans too, have this.

Nature build creatures so they can perpetuate their own. Creatures that voluntarily do the OPPOSITE are against nature.
