I keep repeating FORGOTTEN things.
One of the things precious few people remember is the "It's not Israel" media blitz right after 9/11. A poll right after 9/11 showed that OVER TWO-THIRDS of Americans were demanding a complete reassessment of our backing for Israel.
For a month, every Moslem interviewed pointed to Israel as their cause for 9/11. In the same month, every single discussion of 9/11 included a statement that it had nothing to do with 9/11. That two-thirds number dropped steadily.
Wikipedia now has an entry on a newly-developed compressed air car.

It includes the standard and packaged statement that it is The Evil Oil Companies that are keeping it from being developed in the US. Like most safe statements, it avoids a critical truth.
The US could get all the oil it needs from Russia. But if we did that, it would leave our only REAL interest in the Middle East, Israel, naked. How do you think the most powerful lobby in Washington, AIPAC, would feel about that?
No one ever mentions that.
Who would DARE mention that?
