THE ROBERT W. WHITAKER ARCHIVE

Besides his usual good points, Antonio said something I can have fun with:

"( Whites with their racial guilt are) a bit like the dark ages monk, awake on his stone bed and probing his heart for feelings of lust and gluttony. All have sinned and fallen short.

MY REPLY:

Antonio old buddy, at my age what really bothers me is not the sinning but the falling short.

I read things like The Confessions of Saint Augustine and listen to the heart-rending sermons of preachers who say how, before they Found The Lord, they sinned and sinned and sinned and sinned and sinned.

They had an unending supply of willing, wildly good-looking women. They were at parties and orgies all the time.

I went damned near all over the world.

Let me make a confession that really HURTS:

I didn't find that many lovely Jezebels who lived to tempt me, and the drunken orgies were, compared to the preachers, few and far between.

I am sixty five years old, and I haven't had the experiences every Bible college student confesses to before he is thirty.

I have fallen short, big time.

No Spam. Yes, but if you have honesty you are already ahead of most preachers. Sorry, most of them are liars. Sounds like you've got honesty.
